Summary

The teaching projects linked to the Artes do Movimento Laboratory are coordinated by the teachers responsible for the curricular components aimed at the study of expressive movement and dance. These disciplines are part of the fundamental and formative axis of the Scenic Performance course. They are: Movement and Perception – classes A and B (60h); Movement and Analysis (60h); Movement and Composition (60h); Dance 1 (60h); Dance 2 (60h); Dance 3 (60). The projects also cover two subjects of the Licentiate Degree in Theater: Movement and Pedagogy (30h) and Dance and Pedagogy (30h). Monitors (scholarship holders) and volunteers participate, under the guidance of teachers, both in didactic actions and in support to students, facilitating integration in the academic environment. The monitors register annually in the UNIRIO Graduation Teaching Week, where they present a poster/communication about their actions in the projects. The projects encourage scientific and pedagogical interest in the contents and methods used in the classroom. The Multidimensional Arts Laboratory of Movement carries out integrated actions between teaching, extension and research projects.
