Master's Degree in Performing Arts at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro-UNIRIO (2011) with the dissertation “The Investigation of the Scenic Game in the Actor's Body in Formation Through the Laban/Bartenieff System”. Doctoral student at the PPGAC of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro-UNIRIO. Laban Movement Analyst (CMA) by the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in partnership with New York University; (New York-2008) with the work “I am at one end, you are at the other”. Dancer graduated from the Dance School of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro (School of Dances Maria Olenewa), where she was a teacher and coordinator. Dancer of the Corps de Baile of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro (BTM) and of the Ballet Association of Rio de Janeiro (ABRJ), she was Head of Division – Dance, at Fundação Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. She was coordinator and teacher of the Ballet Dalal Achcar Ballet Training Course. Graduated in Pedagogy at UFRJ and post-graduated in Educational Guidance at UFRJ. Master's Degree in Education from PUC/RJ (1977) with Dissertation “Pilot Study on the Possibilities of Including Body Expression in Elementary School Curriculum”. PhD in Theater from UNIRIO (2004) with the Thesis “Angel Vianna: the pedagogue of the body”. He conceived and coordinated the Postgraduate Course Lato Sensu Specialization in Musical Theater at UNIRIO. She is currently a professor at the School of Theater at UNIRIO/PROPAP, working in the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts and in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching of Performing Arts. Current research – “Musical Theatre: body and voice investigation”. Guides graduate students. Experience in the field of Dance with emphasis on movement/breathing/flexibility/voice work for actors. It has published books, chapters and articles in specialized magazines.

Joana Ribeiro da Silva Tavares (Joana Ribeiro)

Graduated in Theater Theory, Bachelor in Performing Arts at UNIRIO (1999). Master's (2002) and Doctorate (2007) in Theater from the Postgraduate Program in Theater (currently PPGAC/UNIRIO), with doctoral internship at the Department of Dance at the University of Paris-8, Vincennes – Saint Denis (2005-2006), with the thesis “Klauss Vianna, from Choreographer to Movement Director. Historiography of Corporal Preparation in the Brazilian Theater”. Post-doctorate (PRODOC/CAPES) in the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts/PPGAC at UNIRIO (2008-2012), with the research project “The Body Preparation for Musical Theater”. Post-doctorate at the Department of Dance and Laboratoire MUSIDANSE of the Paris-8 University (2016.2-2017.1), with the research project “Reading gestures in dance - introduction to the thought of Hubert Godard”, with a mission as a foreign guest lecturer. Adjunct Professor of Dance and Movement in the Department of Interpretation at Escola de Teatro,
UNIRIO. Integrates the Postgraduate Programs in Performing Arts/PPGAC and Professional Masters in Teaching of Performing Arts/PPGEAC, UNIRIO. Juliana Mornings

Performer, player, dancer, choreographer and researcher. Graduated in Artistic Education, Full Degree in Theater from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Master's Degree in Performing Arts with the research “Memories of a playing body: the cazumba game in Bumba-Boi Maranhense”. PhD in Performing Arts at UNIRIO, with the research line Performance Studies and the thesis “An invitation to dance: Umbigada performances between Brazil and Mozambique”, performing the sandwich doctorate at CNPQ in Mozambique. Adjunct Professor at the Department of Interpretation of the course “Scenic Performance” at the School of Theater of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro/UNIRIO. She is a collaborating professor of the Arts of Movement research group at the School of Theater and Pedagogy at UNIRIO and is part of the research group FRESTAS - Formation and redefinition of the educator at Núcleo Childhood Art and Nature (NINA). It is part of the NEPAA (Nucleus for the Study of Afro-Amerindian Performances). She collaborates with the extension project Popular Culture and University: knowledge in dialogue, coordinated by music professor Vincenzo Cambria and Coletivo Matuba. He coordinated the Brazilian dance course at Laboratório Uzina at Sesc High School in Rio de Janeiro. She performs in the show Umbigar, selected by the FUNARTE Klauss Vianna and Dance Support Fund-FADA awards. He performs body preparation and movement direction in theater, dance and music. As an artist and performer, he works in theatre, contemporary dance and in the universe of Brazilian traditional culture and its diasporas. She took the course The March at École de Sables, on contemporary African dance in Senegal, coordinated by master Germaine Acogny. He has been playing for sixteen years in the group As Três Marias in Rio de Janeiro and plays with mumps at Boi da Floresta in São Luís – MA

Graduated in History at UFRGS (1972), Bachelor in Theater Director at UFRGS (1971), Master in Arts: Theater at USP (1986), with the Dissertation "The body preparation of the actor: a didactic proposal. people feel"; Doctorate in Theater from UNIRIO (2004), with the thesis "Pedagogical path for the formation of the narrator actor"; Post-doctorate at the University of Lisbon (2011), with research on "Aspects of the contemporary Portuguese narrative scene". She is currently an associate professor at UNIRIO, working in the Undergraduate, Graduate Program in Performing Arts and in the Graduate Program in Teaching of Performing Arts. Coordinates the Research: "Actor rhapsodo: research of procedures for a sign language". Guides Teaching Scholars (Monitoring), Scientific Initiation Scholars, Master's and Doctoral students. Experience in the area with emphasis on the actor's work, with developments in the following themes: rhapsode actor, sign language, narrative theater, actor's pedagogy, theater and spirituality. It has published chapters and articles in specialized magazines. She received the Shell Award - RJ in the Special Category, in 2002. She has worked as an actress, director and body preparer for casts.

Ana Lucia Martins Soares / Ana Achcar

He has a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts (1984), a Master's Degree in Theater (1999) with the Dissertation “The role of the theatrical mask game in the education and training of the contemporary actor”; and Doctorate in Theater (2007) with the Thesis: “Hospital Clown: methodological proposal for training” by the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro Unirio. Associate Professor at Unirio School of Theater, working in the Undergraduate, Graduate Program in Performing Arts and in the Graduate Program in Teaching of Performing Arts. Coordinates the Interdisciplinary Program of Training, Action and Research in the Riso Infirmary since 1998; and the Actor's Nucleus Project - Theatrical Research and Documentation since 1996. Guides Teaching Scholarships (Monitoring), Scientific Initiation, Extension, Masters and Doctorate. Experience in the Arts area, with an emphasis on Theatrical Interpretation, with developments in the following themes: theatrical game, scenic direction and acting, actor training, mask game and clowning. He has published chapters and articles in specialized magazines and books, such as Palavra de Palhaço, by Jaguatirica, in 2016. He is a reviewer for several periodicals, and is a member of the panel of judges for the Shell Theater Award in Rio de Janeiro.

Doriana Mendes

Singer, Actress-Ballerina. Doctor and Master in Music and Bachelor of Singing, since 2013 she is a Singing teacher at UNIRIO. His doctoral thesis discusses “The Non-Semantic Discourse in Electrovocal Music”. In his master's degree, he received a scholarship from CNPq and FAPERJ, to develop research on contemporary interpreters. He is a founding member of ABRAPEM since its creation in 2011 (Brazilian Association of Musical Performance). He is part of the research groups Artes do Movimento (since 2014) and Escuta, place of musical multiplicities (since 2017). She made her international debut at the Darmstadt Theater singing an opera by Jocy de Oliveira. In 2016, he starred in the premiere of the opera Medeia by Mario Ferraro at the 1st edition of the Bienal de Ópera Atual held by FUNARTE. Soloist for the Abstrai Ensemble dedicated to contemporary music and for the Codex Sanctissima (since 2011) specializing in medieval music. She was a soloist with the Orquestra Barroca da Unirio directed by Laura Rónai since 2008 and served as the group's vocal coordinator until 2015. In December 2016, she was awarded by FAPERJ to guide an art research project that resulted, in 2017, in the assembly of “ Na Boca do Cão”, an unprecedented contemporary opera with libretto by Geraldo Carneiro, starring the soprano Gabriela Geluda, with music by Sérgio Roberto de Oliveira. He performed in Germany, France, Ireland, Portugal, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico and in all Brazilian states, in the Sonora Brasil-SESC tour (2011-2012). He won 1st Prize at the Souza Lima 1999 Contest and was a soloist in the Calíope, Carlos Gomes Award 2002. He sang with Sergio Dias (ex-Mutantes), Tim Maia and Jorge Benjor. He dubs songs in Disney movies and Dreamworks. An interpreter for the expressive Brazilian composers who compose for her, she has made numerous world premieres as a guest soloist in national and international festivals, as well as in opera, musical, theater and dance performances. In cinema, he acted as a vocal coach in the film Berenice procura, produced by EH! Films released at the Rio Festival in October 2017.

Mona Magalhães

Mona Magalhães holds a PhD in Language Studies - UFF / 2010, with the thesis "Makeup and body painting: a semiotic analysis"; Master in Science of the Arts - UFF / 2004, with the dissertation "A face for the character: the creative process of makeup in the theater show 'Partido", by Grupo Galpão"; Specialist in makeup - Makeup Designory (MUD / USA); Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts - UNIRIO She is currently an associate professor at the School of Theater at Unirio, working in the Graduate Program in the Teaching of Performing Arts, she coordinates the research “The body and the city: research on bodypainting”. Scholarship holders (Monitoring), Scientific Initiation, Extension and Masters. Responsible for the characterization/makeup of more than 70 theater works, in addition to several theater groups. Experience in the area with emphasis on Body, Characterization, scenic makeup, special effects makeup, theater and semiotics.Publishes chapters and articles in specialized magazines.Received the awards: Avon Color / 1995, 2004; Coca-Cola / 2000; CBTIJ / 2016,2017; ISTAN Excellence award - China / 2018.

Research project

Tatiana Motta Lima

Graduated in Social Communication at UFRJ (1990) and Bachelor in Performing Arts at Unirio (1991), Doctorate in Theater at Unirio (2008) with a sandwich period at Maison des Science de L´Homme-Paris, with the thesis “Les mots pratiqués : relationship between terminology and practice in the artistic career of Jerzy Grotowski between the years 1959 and 1974” (Honorable mention in the Capes Prize for Theses 2008). She is currently an associate professor at the School of Theater at Unirio, working in the Undergraduate and Graduate Program in Performing Arts. Coordinates the Research: 1) Post-theatrical Grotowski: paratheatre, objective drama, theater of sources and art as a vehicle; 2) Actor: presence and vacancy. Guides Teaching Scholarships (Monitoring), Scientific Initiation, Masters and Doctorate. He has been studying Grotowski's work and trajectory for over 20 years, having written numerous articles on the topic (Estudos da Presença, Revista do Lume, Sala Preta, etc.) and the book Praticated Words: the artistic trajectory of Jerzy Grotowski, by Perspectiva, in 2102. Tatiana is an actress (leap) and director. Received the Shell Award (along with the group Mergulho no Trágico). He is part of the artistic council of CLAPS, the first Center in Latin America dedicated to researching the legacy of Stanislavski.
